More fun with sweaters….

Some of you may remember my post on making nifty hats out of sweaters.

Well, if you liked that…you’ll really love this idea! Our talented neighbor to the north, Far Fifty, shows you how to make pillowcovers from upcycled sweaters. Check out her post on how to do this sweater project.

And while you are there, also take a peek at her BEAUTIFUL furniture that she creates from thrifted finds. She…is…amazing!

Do you have any crafts you do with upcycled sweaters?

I like to get wool sweaters, felt them in the washing machine, and cut them apart for crafting. ALWAYS pick up any fun colored wool sweaters! Gap & Old Navy wool sweaters felt well. The thicker the sweater, the thicker, the felt. So it depends on what you are crafting with it.
