It’s Flippin’ Friday! #27

Whoo-hoo! Flippin’ Friday is here again!

I have to tell you…I have personally learned so much here and I have been able to pick up things just from the great stories people have posted!  Because of your contributions to these posts, I have found retro atomic silverware, Far Side mugs, Starbucks mugs, and just as recently as yesterday….a Barbie polaroid camera!  Thank you all again!

Last week, we learned about chandelier crystals, Xerox toner cartridge, Wilton Winnie-the-Pooh cake pan, Spode dishes, Clairol hot curlers, a Sandy Miller Thingie puzzle, vintage slide charts, and cross stitch pattern booklets.

Thanks all!!!   If you have a flip story you would like to share (big or small), simply write it in the comments section below!

Happy hunting everyone…have a GREAT weekend!

Let’s see…last week I sold a COOGI sweater for $58. It was men’s and was in the women’s section. Priced at $5. Prob’ly cause it’s UGLY!! But check the completeds on those. Major bucks.
Remember those ugly sweaters Bill Cosby wore on his show? Coogi.
Lots of people put ‘Cosby’ in their listings.

Woo hoo Shannon. I didn’t have much going on this week so I’ll share a similar flip I had last year. It was a Tundra Canada sweater with the similar kind of texture. Didn’t go for as much as yours, but it was a nice flip still. I had a blast taking pictures of it as a knitter, I’d *never* wear it, but I did admire it as it was truely a work of art!

I found a Harry Potter Scene-It DVD game, new in shrinkwrap at Goodwill. I’m not a Harry Potter follower, nor do I know much about the Scene-It games, so I wasn’t sure of its value. All I know is I can’t turn down a THING that’s still wrapped in plastic! I paid $6 for this game, and sold it for $34.99 a few days later. Have a good weekend, all!

I read on this blog that anything by Sandra Boynton does pretty well, so I came across two pillowcases priced at $.50 each at GW. One of them sold for $29.90 and the other one sold for $40.89!! Happy Dance!! Are people insane or what!? Just wanted to say “Thanks” for all the good info!
