Up Next: Local Goodwills see sudden surge of customers….

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Employees at Goodwill sorting through donations stumbled upon a couple of rare finds.

They found a scrimshaw engraved powdered horn dating back to 1827. They also found an acoustic guitar, signed by Steven Tyler with an official Aerosmith decal.

The folks at Goodwill say both items will be up for auction on their website.

“The reality is our donors are so generous and we just never know what is going to come in. This is really a treasure, and as our folks unload and open boxes and find these things it’s just like hitting the lottery every day,” said Suzanne Kay-Pittman with Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee.

Just two weeks ago, an anonymous donor dropped off more than 12,000 vintage comic books.

If you’d like to bid on any of those items, go to www.onlinegoodwill.com.
