It’s Flippin’ Friday! #45

It’s Flippin’ Friday! Yay! Time once again to break out those great flip stories!

Last week, we had some more great ones! We read about a Croft & Barrow Nordic design sweater, Arabia of Finland plates, Skecher G-Tech flip flops, Rainbow striped Vera Neumann napkins, a Versace silk scarf, a vintage Christian Dior silk pocket square/hankie, Stampin’ Up rubber stamps, vintage rainbow flip flops, some Netbooks, and NWT Marina Rinaldi pants. Another great week of stories! Thank you everybody!!!

If you have a great flip, write it in the comments section below. And as usual, anyone who contributes gets “INSTANT TREASURE FINDING KARMA”! What a deal!

Have a great weekend and happy hunting!

My best flip this week were a pair of Ariat blue and green women’s cowgirl boots. Paid $13 for them and they sold for……$61. Picked up another pair of cowgirl boots while those were listed and am anxious to see what those end at. It seems that western boots are pretty good sellers. Ariat is a good brand and they make a variety of quality western boots. The boots I sold are from their Fatbaby line which is shorter boots with a fat chunky sole and fat toe.

Those Remington Tight Curls Hot Rollers are always a good sell. Bought a set for $2.99 ~ sold them for $64.99! Thanks to your blog for the heads up!

wow two great flips…barely have anything to share. I did pay my way and spending money to go to blogher 11 so I’m not quite listing much these days because I leave in 2 days!

  4. BIg thanks to your blog and the tips about Starbucks mugs. I found a chubby at a yard sale, and snatched it up. I never would have thought twice about starbucks mugs before.
( I have yet to list it, but will let you know once it’s sold)

I’m late this week but after reading Nancy’s boot flip, even though mine isn’t as great as hers, I wanted to share my own. I found 3 pairs of men’s Wrangler cowboy boots at a yard sale for 50 cents each. I’ve sold 2 pr for $15 each on craigslist with one more to go. They were in used condition so I went with c’list rather than ebay. That way, I don’t risk feedback issues (even with full disclosure) and the buyer can check them out in person before making the purchase.
