Flippin’ Friday #63

It’s Flippin’ Friday again! And you know what that means….more great stories!

Last week, we had some great flips! They included a shoebox-sized plastic bin of 1/64 size John Deere (and other brand) tractors, trucks, etc, a Star Wars Yoda, a vintage NOS Givenchy pantyhose, a Coca Cola seltzer bottle, a “Bartenders Guide to the Best Mixed Drinks” book, and a Oleana- Made in Norway sweater.  Wow…great stuff! Thanks to everyone who contributed a flip!

If you have a great flip you’d like to share, just write it in the comments section below! We love reading them! Just be sure to include your item, what you paid, and what it sold for in the end.

Have a great weekend! And if you have any “inside toy or activity for kids” listings you’d like to share, link them up in “Show and Sell” on the righthand side!

  1. brighton sandals with heels, paid 2.49 and sold for 20.00 (after shipping)

  2. Was having a bad day and decided to dash to the GW. They don’t usually have very many toys but Wednesday the bin was overflowing. I found 6 that I thought I could sell for a profit. I found two 1992 Hasbro Surprise plushies, a white cat and a spotted pony. I check completeds and got them listed by midnight. The surprise about the plushies is that they have a velcro opening in their tummy and …. out come babies!! The pony had her 3 babies and the cat did too…yeah. The pony sold first after only 14 hours listed. The cat was gone in 25 hours. Paid $1 each and sold for $30 each.

Stopped in a favorite thrift store and saw they had a 42 piece set of Onieda 18/10 Stainless Flatware in very good to new condition – 14 pieces still in original wrapping. Paid $65 and flipped for $194.99…. profit after Ebay % and shipping was $104.00. I was happy with this profit margin.

Another picker story. I found 2 pictures which after researching turned out to be German dioramas, or shadow boxes. Sold for BIN at 45.00! Today also I found a great source for good designer clothes at consistently regular prices. (cheaper than goodwill).

Earlier in the year I mentioned on here that I bought some Star Wars Legos and was going to hold onto them until the Christmas season. Well the last sets just sold. I paid 2 bucks each for 4 different set. Grand total for all the sets? A whopping $287.00. Merry Christmas to me! Thanks LNC! I owe it all to you 🙂
