Flippin’ Friday #67

Happy FIRST Flippin’ Friday of the year! I already have a feeling this is going to be a GREAT year for reselling!

Last week, we had a LOT of great flips! The stories were about a Ken doll, a Hallmark “Tin Locomotive” ornament, a pair of red Ferragamo women’s shoes, some Laurel Burch costume jewelry,a Webkinz Ice Dragon Plush without codes, a vintage cast iron stove toy with pots & pans, a SnapOn racing shirt, some pins, some large toy dinosaurs, a Anchor Hocking hand painted casserole (Gay Fad style), and a pair of men’s Simon Miller brand jeans. Wow…things were popping!

If you have a great flip you’d like to share, just write it in the comments section below! We love reading them! Just be sure to include your item, what you paid, and what it sold for in the end.

And if you have any “warm” kind of listings you’d like to share, link them up in “Show and Sell” on the righthand side!

Here’s to a great year!!!

Love flippin fridays. I’ve been buying clean stuffed animals at GW. I sold a green care bear (about 12″ high) for 15.00 (inc. ship) and a NWT my little pony for 20.00 (inc. ship) They were really cheap .50 or maybe a dollar. Don’t know why prices vary so much at GW, but this one gets tons of clean nwt stuffed animals. And they’re so light.

I quit listing things a couple of weeks before Christmas but started the new year off right! Sold six Vogue craft doll cloth patterns for a total of $58.50. They were purchased at a random Thursday garage sale for 25 cents a piece. Also sold The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy for $36.00. Had bought all three for $1.50 at another yard sale. Also sold a Royal Doulton figurine, Little Bo Peep for $31.00. Had bought at a garage sale for 50 cents. Yard sales are the best. A lot of our thrift stores are getting pricey.

I paid $2 for a new Robin Hood action figure set, figuring I could make a little on it. Turns out the set was from the BBC, and extremely rare in the U.S. Flipped it for $60 best offer.

Sold a vintage Dodge Truck Service Manual for $37. I bought two of them for a dollar each and listed the dirtiest one first to see what I could get for it. Next I’ll sell the cleaner and try for more money.

  6. I have read some just right stuff here. Definitely value bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how a lot effort you set to create this sort of wonderful informative website.
