Flippin’ Friday-#121

flippinfridayWelcome to Flippin’ Friday!  Hope you are warm and your sales are HOT this week!

Last week, we had some more great flip stories involving four 1969 Dawn doll clothes (new in package), a Pendleton wool sport coat, Doc Marten Air Wair shoes, Landing Clothing Company khaki fishing vest, black leather motorcycle jacket, and a pair of never worn Fit Flops.

Great flips everyone! Really interesting items! Thanks for sharing!

If you have a great flip you’d like to share, just write it in the comments section below! We love reading them! Just be sure to include your item, what you paid, and what it sold for in the end.

Looking for more great flips? Check out some more great Flippin’ Fridays here and all the great things to look for under “The List” at the top (which is still a work in progress).  And I always keep my list too at the top under “Flips”!

Sold two wool Pendleton “board” shirts, probably 1960s vintage based on the other items in the estate from which they came. They were in less than perfect condition – one had at least 15 small holes that had been mended, the other had about 6 small holes on the collar – purchased them for $1 each after pointing out the flaws, sold for $11.00 and $11.50 plus shipping on eBay. Also on eBay I sold a lot of 7 New Blank Maxell Audio Cassettes for $20 BIN w/ free shipping ($1.75).

On Etsy I sold a 1960s Needlework Kit – Jeweled Christmas Card Holder for $20 plus shipping ($1) and a Hiawatha Erica Wilson Crewel Kit Vintage 1970s in an Owl Design for $15 plus shipping ($2).

Not big flips, but all of these were super easy to list – I would like more of the same!

I guess your Board shirts weren’t mediums since they didn’t pop up in my normal search for those… ; )

I had a couple of decent flips. Early 2000’s Burberry London sport coat. I paid $20 and sold for $80 plus shipping (BIN). Not bad for sitting on it for a week… I also sold an Orvis Hunting Vest (awesome wool in patchwork red tartan fabrics -I so badly wish it had been my size!) which I paid $3 for on Thursday this morning for $60 plus shipping.

I still have some potential for this weekend, and have some good auctions ending next weekend that have some big stuff.

Hey Mike, you must not link your auctions on your blog – anyway, I haven’t been able to figure out how to view them. Would love to take a look at them! And no, my shirts were a men’s size small. I doubt I’ll run across many of them here in semi-tropical San Antonio – but then, you never know! Great flips this week, by the way.

Sold a big lot of Littlest Pet Shop pets and building. I found the bag of pets and wasn’t real sure if they were worth anything. But for 1.99 I thought I would take a chance. I didn’t have my phone with me so I waited till I got home to look them up. Wow, they sell awesome! I went back the next day to make sure I hadn’t missed any and found a large play set building thing. Paid 2.99. Put it up as one big lot and it sold today for 89.99!!! Definitely will be on my BOLO list. Also sold a Caro-Nan basket purse for 35.00. I paid 10.00 for it, and it sat around for awhile so I don’t think I’ll look for them anymore.
