Flippin’ Friday- #132

flippinfridayWelcome back to Flippin’ Friday everyone! Well..garage sale season is OFFICIALLY here! Yayyyy!  And as a result…the “flip stories” are cranking up!

Last week,  we had flips involving Smash Brothers Melee, a vintage 90s Metallica “Ride the nightmare” Tshirt, Allsaints Spitalfields jeans, Salomon Quest 4D GTX hiking boots, Barbour Fleece Jacket, Jelly Belly Team Cycling Jersey, Bill Khakis Oxford Shirt, and a  pair of Santoni Cap Toe Oxford shoes.

Again….GREAT flips everyone! You all really have a “good eye” for finding great stuff! Thank you for sharing your stories!!

If you have a great flip you’d like to share, just write it in the comments section below! We love reading them! Just be sure to include your item, what you paid, and what it sold for in the end.

Looking for more great flips? Check out some more great Flippin’ Fridays here and all the great things to look for under “The List” at the top (which is still a work in progress).  And I always keep my list too at the top under “Flips”!

(not for a lot of profit but for a lot of space to put more profitable items 😀 its been a great week!!

My three best sales over the past few weeks (it’s been slow and I probably haven’t been listing enough):

Laurel Burch The Secret Jungle Coffee Mug (50 cents) BIN $23 w/ free shipping

Vintage 1970s Allen Edmonds Ankle Dress Boots ($2.50) BIN $80 plus shipping

Mickey Mouse Softbook Fabric Panel – All About Me Trilingual ($1.00) $14 plus shipping

I read about Laurel Burch here or on one of the thrift blogs linked here and am glad I did – I would have passed over that mug otherwise. Can’t wait to read everyone else’s flips!

I had a decent week… I think it was my #1 week in terms of profit and total sales. I sold 14 items (I’m not counting the one international buyer that was somehow able to slip through the cracks and click “Buy It Now”. If the guy had any feedback, I might be willing to bend my no international shipping rule for him!).

    My best flips this week:
-Shimano Triathlon Bike Shoes -Paid $15, sold for $62 +shipping.
-Xterra Triathlon Wetsuit -Paid $30, sold for $89 +shipping.
-Scarpa Mountaineering Boots -Paid $45, sold for $229 +shipping.
-RRL (by Ralph Lauren) Selvage Denim Jeans -paid $10, soold for $40 +shipping.
-3x Robert Graham shirts (yes, these again…) -Paid a total of $30, sold for a total of $164 (3 separate auctions) +shipping.

Here’s to another good week everyone!

I’m having really good luck with tapestry items. I listed a pair of tapestry pineapple pattern flats (90s, made by talbots) and they sold for $55! I paid $9.99. I also have great luck with any clothing by Betsey Johnson. Paid $7.99 for a dress of hers and sold it for $92!
