  1. This week, my flips included two Anchor Hocking Soreno Green ashtrays that I scored for .10 each. I took a best offer of $24.99 for the pair. I’ve had great luck with vintage perfumes and colognes lately. I purchased a set of vintage Chantilly at an estate sale for $2. I sold it this last week for $24.99.

I tried the “jelly roll” method of shipping a coffee mug this week – hope it works as advertised, if so I will be on the lookout for more mugs. So I shipped my Starbucks Collector Series City Mug London 2005 ($5) that sold at auction for $25 f/s.

I’ve had good success with two of my husband’s used hunting vests (one I rescued from the Goodwill pile!) Winchester Conceal Small Game Upland Bird Hunting Vest BIN $26 and Upland Pheasant Dove Quail Duck Vest by Gamehide BIN $26. Both sold less than 24 hours after listing. Also sold a vintage shooting vest by Allen Sportswear ($1) for $26. I am WAY outside my comfort zone with hunting gear, but whenever I list it, it sells!

I happened on an estate sale that was offering “stuff the bag for $10” on its final day – so I stuffed 7 Quacker Factory coats and sweaters, some NWT, in my bag. I rolled those puppies TIGHT. So far two have sold, one denim coat for $38 and one sweater for $24. The rest are getting good traffic.

Interesting week, this past one… My store was “closed” from Thursday through Monday, so sales were slow (I was out of town and displaying a return date).

There were still a few decent sales…

Vintage Gucci Tie -Paid $2, sold for $15
Oxxford Blazer -Paid $4.50, sold for $100
Sugoi L/S Bike Jersey -Paid $4, sold for $30
John Varvatos Corduroy Sport Coat -Paid $8, sold for $80
2x Ermenegildo Su Misura (made to measure) Dress Shirts -Paid $14, sold for $71 (total)
Tommy Bahama Silk Shirt -Paid $10, sold for $40
Ralph Lauren Purple Label Dress Shirt -Paid $8, sold for $54

    Happy flippin’ y’all!
